Early Childhood Education
TJIS lay the foundation for the development of skills, both mental and physical, which will define the personality of the child. Pre-primary educational methodology therefore is of paramount importance. The early years are very impressionable and children need to be handled gently. At this age we need to focus on nurturing, healthy interaction and stimulus to develop the child’s academic confidence.

The Early Years curriculum covers Nursery, LKG and UKG. We have a student teacher ratio of 10:1 per class where each class has 20 students and 2 teachers. The teacher-student ratio is well adhered to, ably supported with a well-trained, caring and empathetic support staff

At TJIS we make our classes interesting for young minds by integrating play way and the kindergarten method of teaching environment, in which our students can develop through structured play activities, art and craft and games. Intellectual growth is also encouraged through sharing stories and discussion, writing, number games, observation, and scientific experiences. Throughout the Kindergarten stage, we keep our parents closely involved and assessment is conducted throughout the year.

Secondary Classes IX & X -The Need to Excel

The ultimate dream of every parent is to see their child excel in school. This puts an immense pressure on most students. Not all of them are academically inclined. The school believes that we need to imbibe the children with good habits, attitudes and values that will last them a life time.
Classes 9-10 are more demanding. The academic pressure increases but our children cope well with the challenges. They are older, more mature, focused and are aware of what they want to achieve in life. They learn through discussion, brainstorming, inquiry, analysis and evaluation. The focus of the school is to help children acquire important life skills; encourage them to take their own decisions and learn to stand on their own

Senior Secondary level Grade XI & XII

As they expand their wings and gain greater strength, our vivacious young adults are equipped to meet the demands of advanced levels of academics. The school opens the floodgates of opportunity for them to hone the specific skill sets namely leadership, organization, communication, presentation, team building, independent learning, social skills and many more. Students explore their potential and enhance their competencies through scholastic and co-scholastic activities throughout the year.

These secondary years are some of the most enriching ones when students are evolving into industrious, focused and self-assertive youth who begin to fathom the depths of various subjects. They understand the dynamics of juggling homework, tests, presentations and a wide range of intra and inter-school competitions.
